Shrimp with Fettuccine Pasta & Tequila Inspired Sauce
Sioux-Z-Wow's Saucy Nickname is
Margarita Shrimp Fettuccine
Serves 8
3 pkg. Fresh Fettuccine, (9 oz each)
2 T. Butter
1½ lbs. Shrimp, 5-8/person, cleaned
2 T. Gold Tequila
1 Lime, juice
1 btl. Sioux Z Wow Marinade
1 ½ C. Heavy Cream
1 each Red, Yellow & Green
Pepper, thinly sliced
4 Green Onions, sliced
To Cook: Melt butter in a saucepan. Add tequila, lime juice, Sioux Z Wow Marinade and cream. Bring to a boil. Cook until sauce starts to thicken. Add bell peppers and cook until peppers are slightly limp and the sauce is thick and creamy. Add shrimp and sauté until cooked through, about 5 min. Cook pasta al dente according to instructions. Drain and keep warm.
To Serve: Pour sauce over well-drained fettuccine and toss. Garnish with green onions. Serve hot with crusty bread.
