24 Nov Honey Holiday Ham with Orange Bourbon Glaze
Ingredients
- 7-8 lbs. Bone in Ham (even easier-use a canned ham) fully Cooked
- 1 C. Sioux Z Wow Gourmet Marinade
- 1 C. Orange Juice
- 3-4 T. Burobon
- 1 T. Orange Peel (Optional) Grated or Zested

Instructions
To Cook:
- Preheat oven to 325F.
- Place ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
- Insert meat thermometer into center away from bone. Bake until internal temp. is 130 degrees. (about 2 hours)
To Make Glaze:
- Combine Sioux Z Wow and orange juice in a sauce pan with a whisk.
- Slowly whisk in honey over low heat. Raise heat to medium.
- Bring to a simmer and cook uncovered, stirring frequently.
- Reduce liquid to approximately ½ or 1C.
To Serve:
- Take ham from oven.
- Using a sharp knife, cut/lift off skin and fat. (A canned ham skips this step).
- Make diagonal cuts to form a diamond pattern into the top of the ham. Brush Ham liberally with the Orange Bourbon Glaze.
- Put back in the oven for a few (5_10) minutes.
- Remove and brush twice more with the glaze. Slice into portions and platter or plate to serve with, of course, more “sauce on the side”.
