To Make:
  1. Mix salt and black pepper in a bowl. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the Sioux Z Wow, sugar and water. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add the almonds and cook, constantly stirring until the mixture (sauce) thickens and sticks to the nuts. (About 5 minutes). Sprinkle with half of the salt and pepper mixture and stir to incorporate throughout.
To Roast:
  1. Line a baking sheet with foil. Coat it lightly with butter.
  2. Transfer the nut mixture to the baking sheet. Working quickly with a rubber spatula, spread and separate the nuts across the pan.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining salt and pepper mixture over the top evenly.
To Serve:
  1. Once cooled, the nuts can be broken into sections like brittle and stored in air tight containers. Offer at your party along with a glass of nice champagne!!
  2. They also make an enticing hostess gift.

Sioux-Z-Wow's Saucy Nickname is Naughty Spicy Nuts

Preheat
  1. Oven to 350F
To Make:
  1. Mix the Salt and Pepper. Melt the butter in a skillet over med. heat.
  2. Add Sioux Z Wow, Sugar & Water and stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. Add Almonds. Cook over med. heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens (about 5 min.) and sauce is sticking to nuts.
  4. Sprinkle in half Salt & Pepper mix and stir.
To Roast:
  1. Line a baking sheet with foil and coat lightly with butter
  2. Now transfer the nut mixture to the baking sheet.
  3. Work quickly, using a rubber spatula, to separate the nuts on the sheet. Sprinkle with the remaining Salt & Pepper mixture.
  4. Bake until golden brown, (approx. 10 min.).
  5. Remove from oven and place baking sheet on a cooling rack to cool.
  6. When cool, you can use your hands to break up the spicy nut sheet into bite size pieces.
To Serve
  1. Serve with a bottle of nice Champagne. These also make an enticing hostess gift.
