To Marinate:
  1. Place pork shops in a zip top bag. Mix Sioux Z Wow and ground cinnamon and pour over pork chops.
  2. Marinate at least 3 hours. (Over night is OK).
To Cook:
  1. Remove the chops and set aside. Pour the marinade from the bag into a sauté pan and add the apples, cinnamon sticks and apple juice.
  2. Heat to a simmer, while stirring, for 2-3 min. Stir in the cognac and then place the pork chops in the pan.
  3. Cook the pork chops in the sauce for 5-7 min. per side, covering to retain heat and moisture. Baste several times on each side.
To Serve:
  1. Plate each pork chop and garnish with sauce, apples, cinnamon sticks and cinnamon candies.
  2. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes in roasted red pepper bowls (Ahead of time, cut red peppers in half length wise, remove the seeds and roast in oven) and sautéed garlic snow peas.
  3. Add candlelight, a glass of Pinot Noir, soft music and one red rose. Mmmmmmmmmmm!

To Marinate:
  1. Place chicken thighs in a zip top bag and add ¾ C. Sioux Z Wow Marinade.
  2. Marinate in refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.
To Cook Chicken:
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Line a baking dish with foil. Remove chicken from the bag and arrange in the baking dish and bake for 30 min.
  3. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool. Finely dice the chicken and hold in a medium mixing bowl.
To Cook Mushrooms:
  1. Place the mushrooms in a sauce pan and add ¾ C. Sioux Z Wow and the white wine. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer. Stir frequently and cook until all the liquid has been absorbed and/or evaporated.
  2. Cool and then finely dice the mushrooms. Thoroughly combine the diced chicken and mushrooms.
To Make Empanadas:
  1. Roll out the pie crusts rather thin and cut as many 4 inch rounds as possible (12-16 with a large biscuit cutter).
  2. Place 1 heaping tablespoon of the filling into a pie crust round. Fold in half and crimp the edges with a fork or your fingers.
  3. Paint with softened butter. Repeat until all rounds are filled.
To Cook Empanadas:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Cover/line the baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and spray with vegetable oil. Place empanadas on the baking sheet and bake at 350 F for 15-20minuets.
To Serve:
  1. Garnish with parsley or cilantro and serve hot on a platter.

For Frisky Fruit Salsa:

To Make:
  1. Marinate shrimp in a zip top bag with Sioux Z Wow.
  2. In a bowl, toss fresh fruit, peppers, onions and cilantro with SZW and lime juice.
To Cook:
  1. Coat entire saute pan with olive oil and heat to very hot. Pour in shrimp and Sioux Z Wow Marinade.
  2. Stir constantly and cook over med. high heat until all shrimp turn pink, (about 5 min.). Remove shrimp from pan and drain. Spread on a cookie sheet and refrigerate to cool.
To Serve:
  1. Spoon Fruit Salsa into a stemmed cocktail glass. Attach 6-8 shrimp onto the rim of each glass. Garnish with orange slice or lime twist.

  1. In a bowl, shred or chop chicken (or tofu) and toss with Sioux Z Wow.
  2. Portion all ingredients for 6 Quesadillas.
To Cook:
  1. Coat a 10”-12” frying pan with cooking oil or pan spray and place over med./high heat.
  2. Place 1 tortilla in the pan. Top with 1 portion of cheese, chicken or tofu, green onion and cilantro.
  3. Place another tortilla over the stack and press down with a spatula. Cook 3-4 min. per side until cheese is melted, adding more oil to pan if needed.
  4. Remove to cutting board and slice in wedges. Plate and keep warm. Repeat the process until done.
To Serve:
  1. Garnish with Cilantro and Lime wedges and serve with Sioux Z Wow Sassy Black Bean Salsa.

To Marinate:
  1. Marinate raw chicken in 1/2 C. Sioux Z Wow Marinade for 1 hour. Saute the onion in olive oil and then add the chicken.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix mushroom soup with remaining 1/4 C. Sioux Z Wow Marinade and frozen vegetables. Stir in the cooked chicken and onions.
To Prepare:
  1. Roll out the piecrust sheets fairly thin so that you can get two pie rounds from each sheet.
  2. Use a 5-inch individual pie tin as a template to cut one round for the top and one round a 2 inch larger for the bottom. Form the larger crusts inside the bottom of the pie tins.
To Bake:
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Fill the crust in each pie-tin with the chicken mixture. Place the top crust over the top and pinch the edges together.
  3. Brush the top crust with butter. Bake at 350F for 30 min. or until top is golden brown.
To Serve:
  1. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before cutting to serve.

  1. Melt 1 T. butter and saute shallot and rosemary til shallot is soft. Add Sioux Z Wow and blend.
  2. Take from heat and bring to room temp. Whip Sioux Z Wow mixture into the soft butter.

  1. This basting butter is a palate pleaser on asparagus, mashed potatoes, steamed green beans, broccoli or yams.
